Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th Feb 2012]

They really shouldn't show games like this. Only when they are playing good teams because their footie is abysmal :(

hmmm odd thing to say.

The game yesterday was pretty poo compared to this, both teams attacking blah blah. Not just sitting back letting one team onto them all game.

I almost fell asleep watching UTD v liverpool yesterday.

Anyhow onto today Villa will fail miserably like we've done all season.

Did it also ever occur to you that, having felt like he was racially abused, winning the game against Suarez meant more to him than winning a Euro cup. That is ignoring the fact that, you're clearly exaggerating and he was jumping up and down happy. He didn't do 5 laps of honour, he didn't break down in tears, he went towards the tunnel and celebrated on the way.

Did it ever occur to you if he just wanted to celebrate with the fans he might have gone to the Stretford End? I know the 'pool players go to the kop.

Regardless, what Evra did is fine, so you're pretty much telling me I'm wrong about nothing.

Apparantly PFA going to try get Evra/Suarez together to sort the issues out, So looks like its set to drag on for awhile yet.

My last word on it, Both players have been in the wrong and both managers have been in the wrong at times.

But got to the point its the clubs image now getting tattered even more than it allready has, Needs to be resolved soon maybe PFA can get the two of them to come to some agreement who knows but both managers need to be told via there owners need to shut the hell up about it if press ask just state No Comment if they keep asking just say the same till they shut up about it too.

simply lol at some liverpool fans trying to take the focus off what suarez did by putting the shine on evra's FT celebrations. like suarez wouldn't have done something similar?

again, the pattern continues. this was discussed after the spurs game and the point was that he hadn't learned his lesson from past incidents yet still, liverpool fans jump to his defence.

it is nonsense to say the bloke is anything other than a disgrace to the game and its fans. he has a talent, there's no denying that but the focus is shifting more and more away from his talent and onto his antics. why on earth would you tarnish your career in such a way if you had such talent? it's utterly bonkers.

ferguson is right, he should go, we don't need his kind of attitude in the league. he is a repeat offender.

dalglish's reaction to the sky reporter was lol aswell. definitely something in the water.

Holy sweet mother of god, no one is taking the shine, it is simply being discussed and not one LFC fan has ****ing complained about him doing it and if they are they are being hypocritical, we are just discussing whether he did it purposely in front of Suarez and our players to wind them up, and it is pretty obvious he did.

player in celebrating win shocker!

there's a difference between winding someone up and being purely offensive and disrespectful.

is it disrespectful to celebrate a win in front of your fans? maybe a little undignified at times but not really in this case, it's not like evra ran past suarez doing the loser sign at him (though that would've been funny). was he doing it as a bit of a HAHA to suarez, probably but then, can you blame him after the whole incident which had been bubbling for weeks and capped off by the handshake incident?

the only bit of dignity suarez can take from it is that tbf to him, he didn't react, didn't even look like he'd noticed until the players/staff/officials were around him
