Yep. Lallana and Gini pressing from midfield and Mane and Firmino pressing from the very front. Left Henderson and Coutinho to find space and do what they do best. Coutinho doesn't look too far from full fitness and total awesomeness againBaZ87;30494550 said:Really impressive performance tonight - possibly as good an allround performance that we've put in for a very long time. Controlled the midfield, looked a threat everytime we went forward and defended very well - crucially, we defended from the front.

I wouldn't have allowed our goal, Gibbs should have been off, because he didn't make any attempt for the ball he just barged into the guys back on purpose, had he gone for the ball then I'm under the impression that should now be a yellow but he very clearly made no attempt for the ball.
I don't know what made me realise it so much later but, should Walcott not have got a direct red? He was actually angry with the linesman for not giving the foul, he didn't throw the ball away but seemed to throw the ball at the linesman didn't he? I'm not even sure, you'd think if a player picked up the ball and purposefully threw it at the ref it would be a straight red, so red for intent to throw ball at linesman in frustration?
Either way, who knows where the game goes if we're level and down a man, knowing Arsenal probably win 3-0 as we have a good record of being down a man, but in reality it should have happened and the result would have definitely been different(scoreline, we may have still won).
Spurs were just bad, sure Liverpool helped put them under pressure but so much bad passing, so little energy. Spurs usually run hard and will work hard to have the passing options which would leave a team hunting in packs like Liverpool pretty tired, instead they all seemed lethargic, in woeful positions and very early in the game panicked hard every time they were closed down.
Sunderland and Palace, lol, Sunderland came instantly crashing back down after a single good result and Palace continue to be absolutely awful under Alladyce.
