Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th January 2014]

All 3 of you are wrong.

So you say, it's ****ing shame it their decision that matters though :p

Seriously though, how is a Newcastle player jumping out of the way of the ball a few yards from the keeper not interfering? Hart can't commit to attempting to make a save until the ball's come through the players in front/around him.

Newcastle have been robbed and Tiote of possibly goal of the month. :(

None of the players were active (blocking Harts view) or touched the ball, I think what has happened is that the Man City players have screamed that someone touched it and ref/lino without a good view has listened to them.

So from what Pardew said the linesman said it was a goal and the ref ruled it out?!

"The linesman's right, you're wrong!!"

The linesman didn't flag initially which is fairly standard as they didn't touch the ball. He's not in a position to determine whether the Newcastle players were interfering with play. I assume the ref made the decision that they were interfering and checked with the lino to make sure they were in offside positions.

Dreadful decision to disallow the tiote goal. Shocking. More angry and more drunk than I should be am hour before work.
