So if Hart is on the corner flag and has someone standing in front of his view whilst the ball is smacked in that's disallowed as it may have made him lose sight of it? Hart would've had the same chance to save it over there
He wasn't by the corner flag though. I don't think he'd have saved it but you can't say 100% that he would have had no chance.
It might be harsh but I just can't see how the Newcastle player wasn't distracting Hart.
No they weren't. The rules were changed but the rule still includes players who's movements may distract opposition players.
He wasn't saving it, if Hart ever wanted a chance he'd have had to dive when the ball was struck, not when he sees a Newcastle player, nothing to interfere with so goal.
He begins to move to his left, pauses and then starts to go again before realising he's no chance.
It's not unusual for keepers to not commit to a dive before the ball's passed through traffic.

INTERFERING – what the law now says:-
“interfering with play” means playing or touching the ball passed or touched by a team-mate - He didn't do that.
“interfering with an opponent” means preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or movement or challenging an opponent for the ball - He didn't do that either.
Hart had plenty of room to attempt a dive.
