The ref's been a mess ever since the disallowed goal. He could have sent 3 players off but has been scared to make a decision.

I don't know about 'scared'. He's made plenty of poor decisions all game but I don't think it's down to being scared of making the wrong one.

Cabaye was asking to be sent off and should have received a 2nd yellow on at least 2 occasions. The ref bottled it - after disallowing your goal it's going to take a murder before he sends one of your players off.
