Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 15th April 2015]

Don't get me wrong, as a football manager you should do what works, shamelessly. Mourinho is a master at it. Park the bus, waste time, use mind games. If you win, it's good.

My point was more that it amazes me that teams aren't seeing this. Yaya should be tracking Fellaini all over the pitch. Similarly, any full back bthat allows Valencia to skin him should be dropped. Show him inside.

In short, it annoys me because this United team does nothing impressive but still wins!

I rarely watch them now as they're pretty dire but first half against us they were pretty impressive, although Rodgers got it completely wrong.

I'm surprised there aren't certain special people complaining about the current sky and other media love in on manu here :D (Seemed to think when it happened to us last year it was a special case when really they just go with the team that is winning+big market)

Be pretty annoyed if that wasn't a red against a liverpool player

After the first ten minutes I was seriously worried, Utd just were not in the game at all - weren't pressing in the slightest and just looked like it was going to be an awful game for the home side

Since then Utd have really worked the ball, taken their chances and scored some good goals.....and that's with Clattenburg on the field!!

Still have a massive 45 + to go but looks promising at the moment (although City have had a couple of breaks which were eventually dealt with but were close)

edit - That Kompany challenge was awful, high , late and with studs. Very lucky to stay on
