Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11 - 14th May 2013]

I think they'll get turned over 2 or 3 nil to be completely honest.

I would say Arsenal are likely to have 2 or 3 times as many shots on goal as Wigan......but with some of their strikers, even that might not be enough to even score 2 lol

Nothing against Arsenal, but I kind of want Wigan to stay up now they won the FA Cup

They are arguing about Martinez being over rated and Someone made a good point on talksport.

Redknapp is called a good manager and has got 3 clubs relegated, two with large budgets. Martinez taking a small team with a small budget and keeping them up every year. Why exactly is Redknapp good and (to some) Martinez over rated?

Great point, though I may be biased as I think Redknapp is a useless ****.

United vs LFC u21s on atm, 2-0 united from 2 penalties from players showing they'll never make it :D

Would turn the sound down mind you, some right embarrassing **** getting sang

Well anything could happen, who'd of thought Wigan would beat City? The last bet I made containing Arsenal they lost at home to Blackburn.

Yeh so please stay quiet lol.

Absolutely bricking it as if we don't win tonight, there won't be any CL football for us next season. But fingers crossed we smash a few past Wigan and send them down once and for all...give them the ignominious title of being the first side in football history to win the FA Cup and be relegated:D

COYGS!!!!

Our previous 2 games against Utd have ended with a man sent off too - just the sort of experience they need for playing Utd at senior level.

On a more serious note - it's quite alarming how **** Flanagan has become. He looked really handy when he got a chance in the first team the other year, against the likes of City and Arsenal too, but since then he's gone backwards at an alarming rate.

Was just saying that, since the Sunderland game at start of last year he has dropped off a cliff, cost us that game.

Was just saying United getting every decision here, granted the pens were pens but other random stuff, but **** me Coady is lucky not to see red, there is definitely gonna be one from him or Samas inability to use his brain

Wigan to stay up and Spurs not to get 4th please, how can that happen?
Wigan win tonight then Arsenal win on Sunday with Spuds dropping points?

I'm feeling kind of serene. The fact we're in this position is purely down to Spurs throwing away a massive amount of points - we were utterly useless most of the season and it's a miracle in some ways we're even in a position to be contesting a CL spot at all. Let's try and make the most of their kindness though.

FFS Niall Quinn on commentating duties :(

Also we have lost 4 times when mike Dean has refreshing the match :/.

Already not looking good lol.

In fairness Sama can have no excuses for the first one this season (he was the player sent off in both games), he was on a mission to hurt someone. Funnily enough he also gave away the first penalty tonight.
