Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11 - 14th May 2013]

Unbelievable that he ended his international career almost 9 years ago. Such a great player so badly utilised in international football to fit in others with a 10th his ability :(

Seeing it again Benteke is very unlucky. Not so in the fact he shouldn't have been sent off but the fact that his eyes never left the ball and he genuinely seemed surprised he hit someone trying to take the ball down.

In case people wonder this is the guy that has started the Jones / Rooney bust up rumour on Twitter - https://twitter.com/nelsonio90

Norwich, Soton, S'land & Newcastle can all secure safety today if they win.

I know Soton and S'land play each other and can see it being a bore draw as neither team wants to risk losing a big game or a high scoring one as they'll both be aware that they can secure safety if they win so will go all out.

Heres to hoping and praying we beat QPR!!

Oh yeah, good luck North London by the way.
Not really bothered who takes the last CL spot as long as it not Spurs, again.

Would have helped us massively had you beaten Spurs on Wed;):p.

Hoping Stoke do over Spurs today either a win or a draw would do me nicely:).

I think Norwich and Newcastle are most in danger, if they lose both of their remaining games and Wigan pick up a win (likely at Villa) one of them will go down on goal difference.

Not true. Wigan can still get 6 points.

Yes but a win takes the all above Aston Villa by a point who play Wigan on the final day of the season, therefore, it is impossible for Wigan to get all 6 points and AV to get a point for both of them to secure safety. So sorry but it is true :) I wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't

Yes but we only need one win, so more pressure on Wigan and Aston Villa if we pick up that win today
