Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11th - 15th January 2019]

I’m actually enjoying United playing well again. Probably because they’ve got such a lovely happy guy in charge.

Also, beating the spuds helps :p

The difference between Man utd now and a month or so ago is night and day, just give him the job ffs and save the club a few zillion £ to spend on other stuff!

Sounds like we got a bit lucky that half to be ahead but I’ll take it. One of the comments on the BBC is how spurs attack is fluid and Uniteds is hoping for a mistake or a bit of inspiration from a single player. That’s kind of what a manager builds over time so I don’t know how much that reflects on Solskjaer.

United are playing on the counter and have done it well to be fair

I wouldn't say we got lucky tbh, we went out with a plan and we came close a couple of times to executing it. Rashford was denied once from a good ball from Martial.

Not at all. Defensively had a few moments but looked solid.

Yeah, no particular luck involved really. Hope we can keep it going in the second half, Spurs can raise their game significantly, however, pushing forward will expose them to the counter attack even more.

I didn't think Solskjaer would do so well wih this United squad but so far he's doing a tremendous job, I think the main difference is he's selecting players with skill and most importantly pace rather than donkeys like Fellaini and Lukaku.
