It always gets to this stage, we take off the skilful players who can keep possession and leave on the players who can 'put a shift in'. We then spend the rest of the game on the back foot with the ball constantly played back to the defence who hoof it clear...and then they come at us again.

well to be fair - 2 injuries cant really be forseen.

Yes it could be argued that Kagawa shouldnt have been changed, but on the other hand changing Welbeck for Anderson instead would really change the formation , and bringing Chicharito on instead while Liverpool were on top.......could easily have been a disaster

Really hard to call imo, just unfortunate two injuries today

edit - Johnson should have got a second yellow?
