Matip has not played for them for nearly 2 years! He said he retured from international football two years ago.

Its poor from all parties, why is it an issue today? Why havent we donr anything about it?

I agree, you cannot force someone to do something they dont want to do.

From the telegraph report it suggests he didn't get called up for a year or so and retired from Internationals last summer (ie '16)

Even if that's wrong, its a ****** stupid situation
