Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 16th February 2016]

pressures off for tomorrow now

Why is the pressure of? We need to win to stay competitive in title race, or at least draw (depending on the other game). I know as Spurs fans we have be burnt before by previous seasons which promised much, but failed to deliver, but we should be looking up and not over our shoulders, i'm positive we can get a result at City, maybe even sneak 3 points.

Spurs should try to ignore any "title race" and focus more on CL for this season (Although I can see the temptation)
Buy 2 more youngsters in Summer (Hughes and Dembele/Clough) and Poch can Poch them.

We are where we were at the season we got relegated.

Team predominantly full of foreign mercenaries who don't give a ****.

It would really tickle me if we go down so Cashley doesn't get his horrible mits on any of the new PL tv money.

we've never really given the impression of looking over our shoulder this season imo 0-0's in all tomorrows games would suit me fine

This, years of woeful underinvestment is showing with the 3 clubs in the bottom 3, greedy penny pinching owners are getting what they deserve

7 years later we still have Coloccini and Steven Taylor starting games. That and the fact we have the inability to appoint a decent manager/coach has slowly killed this club.

18 day break now. Perfect time to walk, Steve. You're a decent enough guy, but a **** coach and definitely not a manager.

I'd say good coach **** manager.

Re Colo, I still find it staggering he is in a PL team, he should have been bombed out 3-4 years ago but he just keeps getting new deals. He was woeful today, at times I thought he had signed for Chelsea as he seem obsessed with playing good passes for their attacking players.

I've said it before, I would be happy if we got insta relegated to league 2 and had to start over just so Cashley leaves. I would get my season ticket back and be there every week again, until then I still won't spend a penny on the club. We are just a soulless, rudderless money making machine for him now. Sadly most fans are content with that and as long as people keep paying he isn't going anywhere.
