What position did he leave in this year lol?
Klopp had Dortmund down in the relegation zone too. Didn't change my opinion of him, and Dortmund are a nicer and more balanced club overall than Chelsea (player and upper management wise).

Must be hard being a manu fan![]()
Did people see in LvG's interview the other day, he blamed Paul Scholes for influencing the fans and turning them against him. "Everyone was happy until Scholes piped up and started being critical of the football..." Right-o.![]()
to be fair i bet he has held off saying a lot more than that over the last few months. theres deeper lying problems at man utd than LVG and id imagine a lot of it is the background/outside influences from big names
As a general rule, the board provide plenty of money and let him get on with it as he wishes, and that's gone horribly pear shaped.
There are definitely other questions and problems, but LvG has had a perfectly fair crack at the job and many of the issues stem from him directly when it comes to performances on the pitch. As a general rule, the board provide plenty of money and let him get on with it as he wishes, and that's gone horribly pear shaped.
Few more signings and next year will be our year (tm).
That's a tidy profit made on the game, had a feeling Man Utd might turn up half assed today.
Are you sure about that?
Seems like the club is run by money men, not football men.
Manu fans becoming awfully fickle
It is, but what I mean is I don't get the impression they're telling the manager who he can and can't sign (though they'd get in someone like Bale/Neymar if they could, but no manager would object). Nor are they interfering with things like tactics and training. Woodward has perhaps made a mess of signing players, though. They need to take responsibility and get a Football director in place, which it seems like they are doing (the guy from Atletico).
Explain.

Calling for a managers head twice in three seasons, everyone knew it was going to go to rat **** when SAF left. Any new manager needs a good few years to sort things out, give it a few years and the Manu job will be like the poisoned chalice it is a Chelsea the way you are going
Pretty much all football fans can see LvG is hopeless, doesn't matter who they support. As for a long term plan, he retires after next season, so that's no good.
I personally think the Man Utd fans have been very patient and are anything but fickle. They've been too soft on LvG really.
Look at Leicester, if you do things right you can massively improve any team in a short space of time. We have stupid amounts of money, now we just need a proper direction.

Looks like Arsenal can start celebrating our 4th place trophy early this year![]()
