No team would be any different though, it's how things tend to work these days... if the manager under-performs for a few games then their neck is on the line.

As long as he does some good, it doesn't really matter. There will be other managers available in 3 years.

Klopp had Dortmund down in the relegation zone too. Didn't change my opinion of him, and Dortmund are a nicer and more balanced club overall than Chelsea (player and upper management wise).

Giggs might be even worse and they end up out of the top 6 so not even Europa next year. 6th and 7th are currently only 1 point behind Utd.

Very true of course, but NOT being in the Europa League also has its advantages, so to me, there is no real risk.
