Barca's pre-season has barely contained any training due to weather/travelling etc. It's showing. I think Madrid have just put their heads down and trained for this year. Hopefully they'll stuff them good and proper tonight.
Don't know what people have been saying about the chelsea performance but I wasn't too disappointed. Stoke are really tough away and it's not a disaster to only get a point.
Not a great first half but we completely dominated in the second. We had a few very strong penalty shouts which the ref bottled. Was good to see torres play his best game in a chelsea shirt - kalou and malouda weren't fantastic but sturridge will be back soon and villas-boas is looking at wingers so I'm slightly optimistic that we'll improve in that regard.

Ha, goal out of nothing, although given it was Messi with the assist and Villa cutting in from the left and lashing it at goal, it's not surprising.
