Honestly I haven't felt this bad about going into one of these since Roy at OT, that said somehow we got screwed in the end there with O'Shea not getting a red going by the old last man rules and him setting up the third (if my bitter memory recalls correctly).

Seriously we are so dire against any sort of pace/strength (so any sort of attack), we are relying on lots of space in behind which we aren't getting as our strikers are beyond useless and can already imagine Herrera just kicking the **** out of our midfield whilst diving and getting away with it.
 
Not looking forward to this game at all. When you match up the teams our weaknesses are a match made in heaven for United.

Really hope we win but this will turn ugly for Klopp if we lose.

Oh, and the same midfield three for Liverpool who have repeatedly shown they're not suited to playing with each other.

Subs: Romero, Lindelof, Mata, Lingard, Rashford, Blind, Tuanzebe.

LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS

Team to play Man Utd: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Moreno, Can, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Karius, Milner, Sturridge, Klavan, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Solanke, Alexander-Arnold.
 
Mourinho will have us playing it safe, and the defence will be pretty deep. Liverpool's big threat is pace on the counter (and the biggest aspect of that is out in Mane).

I really hope Lukaku turns it on today, he can rip that defence to shreds if he wants to.

Not sure what formation that is and no Bailly is a blow. Smalling and Jones have the capacity to massively screw things up.

Nah I usually don't feel confident, but whether we draw/lose/get smashed today it really feels like there is no possibility we actually win or have a good performance, I didn't expect us to win last year or vs lvg teams but usually expect us to play better bar putting the ball in the net :p
 
Bailly injured on internationals as well. **** internationals.

Looks like 3 at the back to me possibly, with Valencia and Young as wingbacks.

Hopefully Young and Valencia as wingbacks. We still have the capacity to devastate on the counter-attack with our front 3

It's at anfield so can't be too naive like most top teams usually are. Record against tops teams is nothing for someone like Liverpool though, if they can't do it at away games.

Feeling like United will win comfortably, but I'd rather that didn't happen! We've seen the defensive frailties of Liverpool in every game this season, and United aren't exactly shy going forward so far. Liverpool without Mane as well, he's a huge output for Liverpool.

Here's my waste of a fiver :D
