Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 17th September 2014]

It's tough to pick one, they've all done well. Herrera has just edged it for me, good on the ball, quick to close down off the ball and he's covered an insane amount of ground. Great finish for his goal too.

+1

Also ADM loses a point or two for criminally giving it away on the half way line and then again (even worse) centrally right in front of our box being too clever

Valencia looked bad before, but with the quality of some of the players today, he just looks embarrassingly bad :D

Is Shaw making up the numbers but they'd prefer not to play him at all or, any reason to not be trying to get him 30 mins like Falcao has had?

I've liked Rojo at wing back, his attacking instincts are good, when/where to run and put in a few good balls. Would have brought Shaw on for Rafael, get him some minutes, not waste time on Valencia. Could push Rojo or Shaw to right back and see how they do there. It's likely you'll need cover for Rafael at some point this year and even against QPR it's clear Valencia isn't good enough.

Shaw is only just back from a month of injury, not sure how long he's been training for or how many minutes he's good for.

I assume that LvG doesn't think its worth risking him when the game is won. He was probably hoping to only have him on the bench as cover in case Rojo got injured.

Probably aware of ADM still being short of fitness and juggling everyone

Would love to see Shaw today, but probably vs Leicester next weekend
