Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 19th April 2018]

Henry desperately wants the Arsenal job. He probably didn't even know who Darren Moore was until a week or two back and now he's pushing for him to get the WBA job because how well he knows & loves the club etc etc etc
Jose giving an honest and frank interview there
Subtly mentioning how many titles he's won about 50 times during it too.

And Football heritage :p

"If you're celebrating now stomp your feet"

Really cringeworthy from City that.
The whole Kompany watching the game in his in laws house was just as bad. City put out a tweet showing his reaction to the final 30 seconds of the Utd game and he was sat there pretending to be nervous while some old woman was singing to a baby :o

Joe Hart proving what an absolute pile of **** he is once again. Not only is that woefully bad but he hasn't got the balls to go in for the second ball with his hands.

So not only is he crap he's also a coward. How is he anywhere near the England squad. At least Southgate is there to see it.

Has a manager ever got two clubs relegated in the same season before? Good old Mark Hughes. He will still walk into a PL job next season

I think it's unfair to pin Southampton on Hughes, if he'd been given a crack from early January maybe but trying to take a club that was SO negative and deep in the relegation mire (even if the consistently deluded players were still waffling about Europe a few months ago) and save them in 8 games is the job of a miracle worker, nevermind a good manager. He hasn't got us relegated, he's just been installed as the captain of a ship that wasn't quite sunk but had a 200ft hole in the hull.

This season sits squarely on the shoulders of Puels terrible end to last season and the insipid negative football he instilled here and Pellegrinos ability to do nothing other than take that negative ethos and go over 9000 with it. Well them and the arrogant/deluded directorship that let them do it.
