Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th March - 18th March 2015]

Our team for tonight Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Allen, Henderson, Lallana, Moreno, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge. Subs: Jones, Johnson, Toure, Lovren, Gerrard, Lambert, Markovic.

Im glad Gerrard hasn't been shoved straight back in which is what i thought Rodgers would do.
 
Pansy ref, can't see how the face high foot wasn't a yellow card purely because it was within the first minute, arguably Henderson might not have made that other tackle had he already been on a yellow, but then maybe Swansea would have gotten in had he not been taken down.

Can't stand refs who change their decisions based on how far into a game they are.

Pretty sure he smashed the ball out so Swansea weren't in really
 
Terrible pass there to Routledge rather than the overlapping player on the left in more space. Ended up in the box anyway and Gomis should probably have spun and pulled the trigger quicker.

Yup, 3 now maybe. Is Gomis at all fast, like there a lot of players would have gone further. I don't watch enough Swansea to know how fast he is. Players are slower with the ball though so wondering if he shot too early from too far or if he knew he had no chance of getting further.

Was good passing though and the CB's were way way too easily drawn into that, not the first time they've been suckered into leaving a large gap to be run in to. Swansea really should have exploited that by now though.
