Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th March - 18th March 2015]

Sack both Pellegrini and whoever is behind their transfer policy.

Marriner playing to the crowd and the players there. He has honestly guessed at that. Stonewall pen.

Not remotely a pen, he's thrown himself down before any real contact. He's already on the way down before anything other than an exceptionally marginal contact. He fell on him rather than got felled by him. Had he not gone down he may well have been taken down anyway and may have deserved a penalty, but he was looking for it and began going down of his own accord.

9 wins in their first 17 games of the season, a single win in the past 12 games. 31 points in 17 games, 8 points in the past 12. West Ham have gone completely to **** since xmas. The only game they won was at home to a truly dreadful Hull. They've put in a couple of decent performances in that run but plenty of awful ones. defensively today and against Palace in particular they let people in between the two cb's so easily.

We have just been nailed by injuries. Palace and WBA (cup) games were terrible but we have done well against the teams at the top. Our lack of squad depth has knackered us. Our only terrible game in the first half of the season was home to Southampton. We have a decent run in and hopefull get a couple of people back fit although it looks like Carroll and Tomkins are out for the season.

Yep, played for it. Wasn't a dive but he was not looking to stay on his feet and shoot at any time.

Fabulous result for Man.C. today, ta.
Pelligrino's comments obviously weren't heard by his players it seems too -

I fully expect the media and it's clueless sucking loaches to go ballistic about that tomorrow.

To be fair, it is 'only' four Manchester City players in those pictures.

Did Kompany tread on an 'injured' team mate in his rush to tell the referee how injured his teammate is?

Chelsea had like 8 players barking at the ref for a Oscar over reaction, City didn't. City may have had genuine reason for the pen.
Chelsea are such a sneaky dirty team. I'd like it if Arsenal, United and Liverpool beat them and they somehow don't win the PL.

Oh look a bitter Chelski fan, that picture is not comparable at all to what your lot did.

Lol, that's nice :p
You're the 4th who's chosen to compare it to Chelsea for some reason without realising the whole point and the beautiful irony.
All clubs do what Pellegrino claims his don't and they all have since Man.U. started it in the '90s, according to Dwight Yorke anyway.
