Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th May 2018]

A win, a fantastic performance, 4 goals, a clean sheet, Salah breaks the record, Robertson gets on the score sheet and Newcastle beat Chelsea. Other than Spurs winning and claiming third this has been a perfect day for Liverpool supporters :cool:

A week break made all of the difference today and our intensity was at the level we had come to expect all season. Two week break before the big one but if we play like that it'll be one hell of a game.
 
A much more relaxing final game than last season. From the first minute we were on it and 4-0 massively flattered Brighton, even if you ignore the 3 penalties that we should have been given. It's incredible that we've only been awarded 1 pen at home in the League this season - we should have at least 4 in the last 2 games! Really pleased for Solanke to get his goal, he's been incredibly unlucky at times this season and even more pleased for Robertson to get his goal - all the talk will be about Salah but Robertson for £8m has been an absolute bargain.

Oh and Salah breaking the goal scoring record for a 38 game season. A non penalty taking, non centre forward has just scored more goals in a season than Shearer, Van Nistelrooy, Henry, Ronaldo, Suarez and Kane ever managed. Phenomenal!
