On a serious note, had you told me a month into the season that he'd end up scoring 20 goals I'd have thought you were mad, let alone 40 odd. He was chipping in with goals but missing so many chances but as the season's gone on his finishing has improved immeasurably - he's so composed in front of goal and probably the most incredibly thing about the goals he's scored is that he's only scored 1 hattrick. Whether Kane, Suarez or any of the others, these guys scored 3, 4, 5+ hattricks to get 31 goals, Salah's been scoring in nearly every game.

The amazing thing for me is that he has done it without being the penalty taker or even the main free kick taker.

You could say he would have scored another 2-3 goals had he been on pens but then again, we can't buy a penalty to save our lives this season. Spurs had more pens at Anfield in the League than we had.

Are you being ironic? The main problem with united is that some of them listen to the over the hill Muppet and his outdated backward philosophy.


Good season finish for Newcastle, good season all told considering the lack of investment. I hope cashley ***** off and we get some decent investment but were more likely to lose Benetiz :(
 
Great performance and it showed with team having no game mid week, hope Milner is back for final though can't afford another midfielder of ours down.

Salah has been amazing all year not much more we can say that hasn't been said.

Solanke getting a goal today was nice too!
 
If they're playing well, Kane and Vardy should be a pretty potent attack for England at the World Cup. Whole team will probably be awful as usual though.

How bad is Bakoyoko? Got to be one of the all time worst big money signings.

I agree with the sentiment about Shelvey and have said so before, he's one of the few midfield players England have that can pick a killer pass and creativity is our main problem. He'd be in the squad for me.
 
Shelvey is quite strange but I don't see the harm in taking him to the World Cup. As long as he keeps his cool, he's better than most of our central midfielders.
