Agger's picked up another injury...![]()

Hopefully its just a tiny knock, so he's more rested for City rather then too injured to play .. if you get what I mean.
Alternative team layout?

Johnson...Skrtel...Coates...Enrique
...............Carra
...........Gerrard...Adam
Henderson..................Downing
...............Kuyt
Still terrible, but still.
Firstly, it's five if you include pre-season friendlies. They've conceeded a grand total of FOUR(!) goals at home all season in ALL competions including pre-season - that's fewer than any team in the country, probably better than any team in a major european league/division tbh.
Who knows, I do not like though![]()
Y Anichebe no start?Everton: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Duffy, Baines, Donovan, Fellaini, Gibson, Drenthe, Cahill, Saha
Saha & CahillArrrrghhhhhh!!! Other than that, class to see Fellaini and Drenthe starting!
Hopefully so we can sell him rather than because we rate him so highly and can't afford to be without him for any period of time.Other then that, we don't want to risk an injury to Carroll? so he can't play,
Re Liverpool formation
Alternatively, 3 at at the back is a conscious decision to counter stokes punt it long style?
Stoke go one up top (Crouch likely) then play 2 CB's and let the third (Coates) man mark him.
Stoke go two up top, then let the 2 CB's mark them and let the third CB look out for runs through the middle.
Other then that, we don't want to risk an injury to Carroll? so he can't play, Spearing hasn't recovered in time and Bellamy needs to rest for City, so unfortunately the rest picks itself =/
Got to question their decision to sell Yakubu.Given that Everton have no decent strikers, I can see it being 90 minutes of teeing up long-range Gibson punts from anywhere between the edge of the box and the halfway line.
Hopefully so we can sell him rather than because we rate him so highly and can't afford to be without him for any period of time.
5 defenders on the pitch and 3 on the bench![]()
