Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [14th - 19th August 2015]

Adrian getting sent off for a ludicrously dangerous tackle. Idiot commentator saying not a red because he didn't see him, he straight up studded him in the middle of his chest with all his weight in that foot. Just because you didn't mean it doesn't mean it's not a red card. LIfting your leg and lunging at the ball WITHOUT knowing there ISN'T a player there is reckless. You're on a football pitch where you should presume that someone will challenge for the ball rather than won't means you shouldn't do something so utterly stupid presuming someone isn't there.
 
Almost a clean sheet :(

Still, will take 3-1 away after last weekend even if Sunderland didn't really show up!

**** loss hopefully gave them a wake up call. Having said that, I'm sure Wenger will use the same ol' tactics :rolleyes:

Yeah solid 3 points, happy with that. Sunderland were truly dire though. Might whack £100 on them to be relegated.

The big question will be if he lucked into that kind of performance or he's genuinely going to stop the holding the ball in midfield crap and totally not play to the strengths of 3 or 4 of our better players. More effort from Lukaku is always welcome, hopefully that comes from being given more direct football for him to move onto.

Or after a couple of seasons losing players Southampton could just be a bit **** this year. :D
 
As **** as we are at least Sunderland are still worse :D

Playing against 2 teams who were highly tipped for relegation and they get tonked by both :D at least we struggled against decent teams :p
 
Just got back from Sunderland v Norwich game - Sunderland were a special kind of awful, I've honestly never seen such a poor Premiership performance. Coates has always been utter gash, don't understand buying him at all. They didn't even have a 10 minute spell of not looking as woeful.
