Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [15th May 2016]

We have had bad luck with injuries this season but LvG has chosen to play Fellaini in so many games. He has chosen to play dull and restrictive football.

Oooh, getting excited in case he announces his retirement.

Why are they talking **** about giving a manager time. He isn't going to be here after next year anyway. There is so much to lose by keeping him for 1 more year and so little to gain.

That's not necessarily true, his current contract might end next year but he could extend it. He only said that United would be his last job and that he'd retire after it, he didn't say when that would be.

well actually I'm sure during the 1st year it was certainly hinted a few times that it was only ever going to be 3 years - but that could have been media **** rather than anything bullet proof

Valencia is such a strange player. 1 in every 100 things he does will be brilliant and then he will revert back to being **** straight away. He will ghost past a defender like he wasn't there and then he won't try and beat a man for the rest of the game.

If he does 1 thing in a 100 brilliantly that would suggest that 1 in a 100 was a fluke. Suddenly one good kick and a player had a good game. :p

I can't believe Rooney is actually involved in the tornement not alone captain. Our consistent use of stale players from the past never gets tiresome.

If he gets in the team in front of established midfielders who have had a great season in their natural position we deserve to go out in the first round.
