Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17 - 19th November 2012]

edit: Martinez has just said Watson's broke his leg. Really unfortunate - him and Sterling just ran into each other.
For some reason Sterling's got a bit of stick over the last few weeks for being 'too small' but for a player of his size and age he's got balls the size of an Elephant. He doesn't get pushed over as easily as he should and he's not afraid to get stuck in with players twice his size.

He really does, although I hope no one tries to lay the blame at his door for Watson's injury. The sound of it when it happened was really quite disturbing, the whole crowd winced at the same time, horrific!

Glad I turned the game off after 30 minutes, another dire result for Spurs. Hopefully looking for another manager in January as the gamble with AVB hasn't paid off.

AVB isn't to blame. He got them playing well for 10 men second half.

Maybe you shouldn't turn games off after 30 minutes. Wouldn't class myself as a supporter if I done that.

I saw two thing for England that I don't believe, Young completing a cross and Welbeck finding that back of the net....be nice if one of them could do it in a Utd shirt!!

What is it that AVB does wrong for you (considering he doesnt have modric, dembele, vdv, a-e, kaboul or parker)?

AVB got his subs (considering our options) right today. he hasn't always.

the problem is, if he wants to persist with gallas, the high line needs a rethink.

Ferdinand lumps the ball 50 yards then realises that he isn't Paul Scholes.

Gigs and Carrick in the centre, lacklustre display written all over that. Neither can move forward with any real pace or accuracy, neither can tackle.

Why on earth are is Cleverley on the bench and where the hell is Ando.

Valencia and Young are battling for who can be the most **** at the moment. So far Valencia is winning, finally beats his man (he ran into him and the ball bounced his way) so he then crosses it out of play...
