Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 22nd December 2011]

These are the sort of games we desperately miss Fabregas (and Wilshere). Get into their final 3rd and hesitation sets in and any chance of a through ball is gone, everyone gets back, wall of blue shirts, they end up racing off back into our half.
 
Aguero and Silva up against anyone is scary. Arsenal playing very well though, really organised. Just need to weather the storm.
 
HT, 0-0, both teams have had chances although it's obvious which side has looked more likely to score. Unfortunately I get the feeling we won't finish the game with 11 men unless Song and Kos are utterly faultless in the 2nd half. Also Walcott needs to turn up in the 2nd half or it should be a quick sub for someone more experienced who won't keep giving the ball away. His pace could have been useful given how most of City's players bomb forward but so far he's yet to even do his kick and run routine, just his kick and fall over one. It can't be the Russian as he's just as bad, Chamakh offers nothing, Rosicky is only good against **** teams... erm. Beneyoun perhaps? :/

Aguero looking about as sharp as a butter knife so far, by his usual high standards at least. Can't believe Balo didn't score when he bought that ball down between whoever it was.
 
Meh good first half from Arsenal to weather the City attack, should have scored though but Ramsey didnt get a good enough touch on it.

As for City, they should be up at 2 goals but they arent having much in front of goal.
