No Kagawa? I suppose he's traveled a long way for internationals.

I haven't made excuses for the Wednesday chants. I've said that I'd be more then happy to see those fans removed, there were so little of them singing that I only caught the beat of the chant and not the actual words.
Abuse thrown at players isn't unusual in a local derby. Wednesday fans were giving that while Leeds fans were singing songs about Jones, all game, singing songs about Jimmy Saville, there were very few reditions of any actual Leeds songs.
Dave Jones didn't react at all to the Leeds fans until the very end of the match when he took objection to Warnock telling his players to applaud them. Warnock played up to the crowd all game.
I don't think the abuse is right, but the abuse at Warnock was nothing that is unusual in a local derby, the Jones abuse was different.
Thought that was going in for a second.![]()
Designer snood. Why does Hazard sport a massive neckbeard
You're making it sound like you're ok with people chanting about turkey and murdered fans, but not ok to call your manager a peado. The honest view is that neither set of fans were in the right last night, stop trying to defend them.
If this game had been at Leeds rather than sheff wednesday then you'd have the exact same thing the other way around.... at home you'd have a smaller group chanting foul comments, the larger group cheering on their team. Just because you couldn't hear them doesn't mean they aren't there (to be honest i could hear them well enough on TV last night though, must have had a mic pretty close by....)
think when Dave Jones was talking about the paedophile ‘Jimmy Saville’ chants by the Leeds fans about him when he was comparing it to racism and calling them animals. He said something like ‘I’ve had it for 12 years…’
I think it’s disgusting that Jones has to go through that in public; the guy has never done anything to anyone and the whole story was so tragic the way his family got caught up and his father died I believe as a result of the stress of the false allegations.. Normally I’m quite laissez-faire about letting fans chant offensive things but this really bothers me. If you called him those things anywhere else you would be up in court. At first I thought he was needlessly having a go at Warnock, but if Neil has stood next to him for 90 mins and heard this terrible stuff then you can see how going to clap the fans after might seem like you condone it.
