I was baffled by that as well, he must have been playing for the foul... there was an incident a bit earlier as well when Mata kept the ball in but Walker got to it first and instead of shielding the ball and clearing it he just blasted it out into Mata for a Chelsea throwing.

Great match anyway, I didn't want the second half to end.

It's a shame really. Being a Chelsea fan, I feel sorry for AVB with what he had to deal with at Chelsea; the "big names" in the dressing room amongst other things. I like him and think he is a good manager, and believe he will achieve good things at other clubs.
 
Matta seems like the type of guy, that if you were friends with he'd drive to pick you up at 5 am if you were blind drunk regardless of where abouts you were.
 
Cringeworthy seeing the replays of Walker and his idiotic backheel that gifted Chelsea their 4th goal :/

Big mistake Chelsea allowing that muppet to keep the captains armband. Sending out the message that its fine to be a racist and still keep the armband. Quite an unbelievable stance by Chelsea on the whole.

Lost all respect for Chelsea, not that i had a lot for them originally.
 
well, i'd say a draw would've been fair at 2-2 if walker and gallas weren't in our defence as they both had shockers. gallas is simply too slow, if we're going to persist with gallas, we need to bring in lloris as he will get out and spread himself faster than friedel.

walker needs either dropping or pushed on as a winger because his defensive positioning and decision making is not one of a rb.

we had a period for the first 15 mins of the second half where we deserved to get our 2 goals but then, again!, we lost our shape and fell apart at the back.

sig continues to not convince me, dempsey *meh*, lennon did ok but we were missing 2 of our best players. would they have made a difference? i don't know but sandro plays a lot better next to dembele.

we need to start lloris and adebayor next game. give sig a bash up with adebayor and have dempsey as a sub.

mata is a class act, not just in his play but as a person. oscar, hazard, didn't do a great deal.

why was livermore bought on and not adebayor when we were still in a phase of having a go at chelsea i don't know?

i didn't expect a win but i'm so dissapointed with our continued lack of defensive organisation. vert is good, caulkers looks like he could be good but gallas and walker need to up their game.

not far from 0-2 there either, really not sure what Rooney was doing, just put his head into it and aimed down. To be fair not a great amount of choices but that is mostly due to his movement/run, you want to be standing back to goal waiting for that not running towards the goal there.
 
Stoke been better team by far so far. United very very sloppy so far.

Nani is going to leave united so he is being phased out of the team by fergie. Just wish would get rid of welbeck also tbh.
