I'm not an Arsenal or Chelsea fan but how the hell did Costa manage to stay on during this game? No doubt Jose will spin it his way, he should be in Corbyn's cabinet :)
 
Yes Costa should have been off and the ref missed it, they can't see everything.

The issue is Gabriel being an idiot, he deserved his red card. You can't excuse it just because Costa WASN'T sent off. I hate Costa as well, but the Arsenal players should have just got on with it, there was no need for them to have to go down to 10 players.

Arsenal fans, just accept the fact Gabriel was a fool.

(I am not a Chelsea fan, I wish Costa was out for the rest of the season).

The bugbear here isn't that Gabriel got sent off (that was fair).

The bugbear here is Costa was the instigator of everything of that mess. He started it all with a foul that he should have got a red for, he got away with it, then he kept at it, turned it around and waving his hands doing the "book him ref!" gesture, all the while stirring up trouble off the ball.

If the ref had seen the initial foul and sent Costa off then non of that would have followed.

May be the good that comes from this is referee will be more wise up to Costa from now on for the rest of the season to his tricks.
