Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 24th September 2015]

A bit harsh, remember McClaren is just a football manager, not a miracle worker ;)

Read the predictions thread, his attitude is funnier when you realise he was talking up the team and Mclaren as better and with no chance of being relegated and couldn't believe anyone predicted they might go down. Few weeks later he wants the manager to die.

DM, you must be what, 32 years old and you're looking for bites. Tragic stuff.

I'm not looking for bites, you go around spouting off about how you want this manager and that manager to die. You went into a prediction thread and starting having a go at people who predicted Newcastle to go down. You explain thoroughly how and why you wouldn't and then got snippy at the reply, as you've done now.

I think it's pretty tragic constantly hoping people at your club die and being unable to accept criticism when you make silly posts about how great Newcastle's team looks this year compared to last, because you bought some guys no one else really wanted to.

2-0 West Ham

Absolutely fantastic again! It's going to be a tough ask for West Ham to hold onto this for an hour with the attack force of City but I hope they can.

this sort of thing really annoys me, focusing on the fact that it was an extremely close call on the corner. WHO CARES.

Just what West Ham didn't need, that late goal just before half time. Going to be an interesting second half now.

Good goal though, time for West Ham to park the bus and break on the counter.

It took them so freaking long to buy players with pace and skill out wide, they had skill without pace, so bought Navas, pace without skill. Finally like 5-6 years after they should have they went out and spent actually over 100mil on two of the best wide players with skill and pace and City have been entirely transformed. They also have more natural cover for Silva though it will take time for people to get used to playing with KDB in that playmaker role.
