Nonsense, Lovren was highly rated when he left Lyon. Sakho might be our best centre back but we still concede consistently when he plays, backing up my point about it being the system. I know that Agger no longer plays for us, but he didn't help our defence when he played under Rodgers. I don't even know how to respond to your point about Skrtel, you're just making random stuff up.
 
Arsenal's pace against a back three worries me, but in terms of the players picked I can't really fault that, except maybe Can in for Gerrard.

Lovren was a pile of **** for Lyon, constantly dropped to the bench and making error after error when he was in the Team, I suggest you go read up on him if you think he was highly rated.

Surely you must have seen the Skittle comments about his good season, bad season, good season, bad season?

We concede all the time because the amount of shots opposition teams have on us is on a par with teams that get relegated, and that stems from the total lack of protection our usual DM gives us. Its no surprise that we tighten up on this aspect when Lucas came back.

Throw the above into the mix with CB's that produce more errors than any other CB's per game and we are in a world of trouble.

From what I've seen I agree, he defends very much on the front foot. Great when it works, but incredibly risky - if he misses the ball, he's out the game.

That said I've still barely seen him so am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He certainly adds something physically.

Exactly. That's the system. You've just agreed with the point I was making.
 
Johnson should be given all the praise he gets for that goal. Twice about 80% of other players would have either gone down or stopped playing to complain at the ref for being fouled, but he kept going and got what he deserved. Well played.
 
So annoyed. We did not deserve to lose that. Fair play to Panties though, some top saves.
