We're playing without wingers again today. Even though there are two on the bench!

Di maria's last 2-3 matches before he got injured he wasnt playing that great.

I believe one of his last games was against arsenal and he missed a sitter.

Many in this forum where criticising him saying he has been off form for a while.

No we haven't, he hadn't been quite as brilliant as he was in the few game prior to that but he was still playing very well. I don't remember any fans whinging about him.

So no good DC was available for 2-3 seasons? You needed a whole new defence years ago and should have started rebuilding back in fergies last 2 seasons at united.

Anyways IMO for the reasons i have stated previously, LVG is not doing any better or worse then Moyes.

This leads me to believe that you should have given Moyes a proper chance ie see how he gets along for 2 seasons.

How long did it take Fergie to adapt and start dominating with United?

The mind boggles here it really does. Fergie took over at a completely different time to Moyes. Moyes looked clueless from day one, morale was low, no one believed in him and he was constantly showing that he wasn't up to the job.

Moyes took over the team that won the title the year before and added Fellaini to it along with Mata in January. Performances were dire, results were dire and 90% of the team looked worse than they had under Ferguson.

He played rubbish football, didn't seem to have any idea why we kept losing and he general tactic was to "hope things get better". He left us missing out on the CL and with a team on low confidence. If he showed any hint of promise or aptitude for the job he would have lasted longer. He was given a 6 year contract for christs sake. You don't do that unless you will stick by someone who you think has potential for the future. He failed. He failed spectacularly and you are just plain wrong about almost everything you have said.

A defence of Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra who have played together for years is unsurprisingly a little better than one of Jones, Smalling, Rojo Valencia, Evans and Young in whatever configuration happens to be fit one week to the next.

If you watched any United games last year and compare them to this season you would realise that you are talking utter crap but I assume you haven't.

Am sure they are. But they are also ones who are sitting on the fence tossing and changing there opinions of him almost weekly but no one cares.

Question: Cant a fan change his opinions of a manager/player?
But how do you know it's the same people changing their opinions weekly? Are you taking surveys before and after the games to see if these same fans are flip flopping or are you just assuming?

Yes of course they can. Sport is performance based and if you aren't performing to your level opinions will change, but most will accept the mediocrity and continue to ask for a wave.

It would appear that todays tactic is to attack. RvP, Rooney, Mata and Falcao all starting.

Is he? How long has he been ill? He's been on the bench the last few games behind Fellaini :(

food poisoning apparently.

i read on the caf that fellaini might have the same thing, hence fletcher starting

e: no idea how long. probably be back in time for boxing day i reckon.

Cracking strike from Benteke. Shouldn't have been allowed to shoot but he stuck it in a treat.
