Finish the job Arsenal.

Its in the bag:p.

But seriously we need to win regardless of what Spurs do on Sunday...i know soon as the Arsenal match is finished, ill be flipping over to Spurs and hoping that Sunderland are either ahead or at least level.

COYGS!!!! lets keep Spurs out of the CL for another year:p:D

Watching Arsenal against Wigan yesterday does not fill me with hope vs Newcastle who have nothing to play for and usually can bring the best out of a team.

It will need something special, it may be Spurs only hope of hanging onto Bale.

Nah, he'll be there next year, AVB will twist his arm. Spurs will spend 60mil in the summer and they'll be title runners maybe. He wont leave yet...

i feel he may stay too but only on the premise levy spends and on the condition he can leave if we don't get cl. he likes AVB, and he gets on well with bale and bale is in his best form so far and the fans love him.

berbatov left, spurs were set up to fail, modric left, spurs were set up to fail. even if bale does leave, we still have a good squad to build on.

at 23, it would be in bale's interest to stay too. i can't see him going to another pl club so one more years pl experience will do him good.

Comfortable win for both teams, Chelsea to draw, Arsenal in 3rd. Better luck next time Spurs ;).

Perfect result to the weekend but hopefully with Spurs losing;):p...just to rub the salt into their wounds...i joke i joke:p

But yes next year might be the Spurs year where they might just finish above us for once:p

I disagree. No way did Berbatov and Modric have the same effect when they weren't in the Spurs team than when Bale doesn't play. I think you have a good squad but not good enough consistently for top four. The likes of Huddlestone, Dempsey, Holtby, Caulker, Townsend, Parker, Essou Okotto wouldn't get in Man U, City's, Chelsea or Arsenal's side.

I don't think they're going to get any better and not much in terms of youth is coming through other than Rose.

That was just the Ramos era wasn't it? All went smoothly went Redknapp came in.

Who can forget Ramos and his obsession with ketchup. Just checked the stats and it looks like they were in the relegation zone when Wendy took over so I must be thinking of some other time. It'll be interesting to see if they can actually kick on with the progress next year but I'm guessing a lot of it will depend on them buying someone other than Bale who can score for them, as well as how good/bad Chelski and ourselves do at addressing weak areas in the summer.

Anyways as for Sunday I think it's a tough one to call but the fear of losing out on CL football would be enough motivation for us not to fudge this up. Would be pretty nice if we snatched third as well. :D
