Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 2nd January 2020]

Both of your goals came from massive deflections. Do not kid yourself thinking Arsenal have turned a corner. We were very poor last night and also highlighted how bad our depth is. We are totally empty in the middle at the moment and the next few games with highlight this even more!
The salt is pretty heavy with Utd fans lol:p.
And we have turned a corner with our recent performances, sure we didn’t beat Chelsea but compared to earlier this season, I’m seeing a huge improvement under Arteta. We aren’t title contenders or trophy contenders but we are doing much better than we were a month ago and that for me is turning a corner ;). Even the players look much more happier and working more as a cohesive unit than the disjointed team we had under Emery.

No heavy salt mate at all we know were useless we beat city and Chelsea and spurs but were not delusional we are just so in consistent its unreal we played like we did against Watford you played better than us and deserve the 3 points

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Adrian, Milner, Lallana, Origi, Phillips, Jones, Elliott.

Happy to see Elliott on the bench, hope he gets some minutes as well tbf

Having someones shirt in your hand not clear and obvious holding, they aren't bothered if they can't mess about drawing lines.

That slip essentially killed any chances we had of getting any kind of result. Liverpool in complete control, we don't look like troubling them.

Walk in the park. A very good Sheffield Utd side, that's caused every team they've faced problems, didn't get a sniff. Only negative is the injury to Keita, fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

We looked poor, but I'm guessing a large part of that is just how dominant Liverpool are in every area of the pitch. They've made bigger/better teams than us look terrible also...
