Shelvey's been much better than Gerrard in the advanced position. Wouldn't mind seeing him start ahead of Allen and Sahin in midfield with Gerrard on the right in our next game.

Where did I say Liverpool have been excellent? We've created great chances doesn't make it excellent play considering we can't score, but yes both your goals were heavily influenced by Liverpool mistakes. Butthurt? I'd rather you outplayed us, causing our own down fall is sad and embarrassing

City, United, Arsenal and Chelsea will get the top 4 spots and Spurs, Newcastle and Everton will all be fighting for 5th, 6th and 7th. We'll finish behind them unless we're close enough in January for a striker to make a difference.

Yep pretty much according to Purdy, doesnt like to give credit where credit is due. Not Arsenals fault that Liverpool are playing so poorly. But meh whatever eases his heartache at losing to a far superior team today.

All Liverpool needed was an out and out goalscorer, seriously lacking upfront. They get the ball to the right areas but no one can finish. Suarez isn't a natural goalscorer he's more of a playmaker.
