That's not me encouraging a return for Owen btw. If I was Ian Ayre, I'd phone Owen just to tell him that even we're not that desperate.

How well would Owen have to do to be accepted by the fans? Better than he is ever likely to do I'd say, massive gamble that isn't worth taking for Rodgers.

Fans are fickle, he'd be hated then if he scored a couple he'd be loved.

A bit like Diouf at Leeds :p
