Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 5th December 2016]

Lucky his foot was to the side of his face rather than straight in the face or that would've been messy.

Yup, looks like he's bleeding just above the eye but yes, foot just off to the side. A bit further over and that could have been studs straight in the eye or a broken cheekbone/etc.

Didn't even get a yellow card, don't think it was intentional but when it comes to dangerous play/reckless tackles and red cards that fully qualifies.

Fernandinho put his hand around Fabregas's throat like 3-4 times, Fabregas completely didn't react. Walking back over the board, Fernandinho repeatedly grabbed him by the throat and pushed him. He wasn't looking behind him, he was being backed up forcefully. Fabregas put his arm around Iaenacho iirc, pulled him back but around the chest, not overly forcefully, Fernandinho put his hand up in Fabregas's throat and he tapped him on the check in a friendly way to show he wasn't angry and shoving people around aggressively but pulling players apart, at which point Fernandinho went stupid.

Hate Fabregas all you want but don't talk such utter tripe.

Woeful tackle from Aguero, live it looked a straight red, utterly brain dead tackle, the game was already gone and he's made the next 3 games harder for absolutely no reason.

4 :)

Although I can see a little extension to that, 5 would do, that was he misses the Liverpool game. :D

Not convinced it will be four, depends on what the ref puts it down as, violent conduct, it will start at 4 but might get worse. If it's down as a reckless tackle it's only a 3 game ban though again the FA can increase that. Bans increase for each subsequent red card for the same offence and violent conduct(which was what he got the ban for when he elbowed, forgot who it was now) are considered different ones.

I'd say that it was in the tackle there is a very good chance the ref gave it as a reckless tackle rather than violent conduct, where as Fernandinho's off the ball and with the game not even in play, will clearly be for violent conduct. Fernandinho also grabbed Cesc repeatedly around the neck which could be seen as significantly worse than just one grab, he also had to be literally dragged away from the pitch and players as he didn't leave the pitch and was just being psycho so I can easily imagine a couple extra games added on for him.

Aguero after the tackle was pretty quiet and calm and didn't continue to act like a ****.
