Well Arsenal at the mo, ManU whenever they win a trophy, Pool whenever they turn over ManU, Spurs with about 10 games left before they choke.

Happens every year with every set of fans.
 
Swansea play some lovely football. Within the first minute they looked more interesting that Spurs achieved in 90.

Seriously though I don't get it, would Spurs fans prefer to pay to go and see 45+ games a season watching entertaining football and come 5th, or watch **** football, come 4th and pay more to see even more **** games the next season?

Ultimately though, managers who sit back hoping for a 1-0 at the end, well, look what happened to chelsea, went from what 2nd to 6th in a year?

You don't win titles, you don't win cups, you don't beat top teams and you aren't entertaining if you aren't trying to win every game. AVB just has this utterly boring mentality, inability to make a team gel or look good offensively and he's buying for me, the wrong attacking players. Soldado is completely the wrong type of striker for the kind of football he wants to play and he way overpaid for him also.

Firstly I'm not a spurs fan, however its not all doom and gloom yet for them, they are going about their business ok'ish, a point at Godison is not a bad result and they are level with Liverpool with a squads that's not fully gelled yet. Time well tell if there buys were good or a total shambles like King Kenny's were at Liverpool.

However given the choice of top 4th playing boring or 5th playing like Brazil you gotta be crazy not to take 4th. It opens up a a totally different transfer market, no doubt Totenham can afford David silva, Mata and Cazorla what they lack is 4th spot.

Time will tell if AVB has what it takes to guide them there, I feel its still early days.
 
Worst football match I've seen in a while, first half has been so boring I've been fighting to stay awake.. was there even a shot on target? it seems like both teams are just going through the motions and playing for a draw.
 
I don't get why people say Swansea are good to watch, they're so boring the times I've seen them play and this match is boring as **** too. I caught the end 20 mins of the Spurs match and they weren't boring as this.

Yeah Spurs have signed the completely wrong striker in Soldado. Their other buys have been decent.

Who gives a crap about 4th and different players if the manager will choose boring players and play them in a boring formation.

For me, there is 90 mins of football, that can be entertaining... or not, then regardless of if that football is good or bad you may find you've won a title, lost a title, whatever else in between. The act of sitting and watching football happens irrespective of the result, I prefer to watch entertaining football and games, two teams trying to win is almost always better to watch than one team sitting back doing nothing.

Spurs weren't remotely this boring to watch under Harry and were doing no better, or worse.

Ultimately as above, you don't win titles, you might have a team that managers to sneak into the champs league but they'll do smeg all in it if they play that way.


Either way, a good day of football seems to have been followed by a **** day of football so far.
