Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2 - 4th March 2013]

Not looking forward to the game later on in all honesty :/

Im just hoping that maybe for once we will start brightly and score a few goals to put Spurs under pressure. Hopefully Jenks or Monreal will be able to keep Bale in their pockets.

Hoping we either win or draw today, cant afford to lose today.

Spurs are playing some of their best football in recent memory and we're basically the crappest we've been in recent memory yet the points difference is tiny. :p

Following on from the shambles (*ahem* adebayor *ahem*) earlier on in the season, I don't think I've been more nervous about a North London Derby in a long long time.

Anything could happen today.

Is Girud Giroud's significantly more talented brother that has been playing when I've not watched Arsenal?

not sure if defoe is fit to start but if he is, he should start over manu who has been dirge.

having no sandro for a game like this is a wounder as parker isn't the player he was last season but dembele can make his mark on the defence. bale needs to track walcott back.

i hope we have vert back in the middle and not lb. BAE is fit so he should go lb and vert pair dawson or caulker. caulker is a good presence in the air but dawson has more experience but both are culpable of bricking it in games like this.

i know sig scored but holtby should start over him as him and bale and lennon can cause a bit of mayhem on the edge of the box.

we should beat arsenal, but i still get a slight feeling that we wont. an early goal and midfield domination would be nice.

I don't know about that. Arsenal have a lot of decent players this season and Spurs were definitely a stronger side last year. It's still incredible that Spurs are anywhere near Arsenal when you compare wages bills.

On the train to the game now and I'm crapping myself. Spurs always find some way to implode in important matches.
