Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th November 2015]

I watched the whole game and Watford not getting anything seems harsh, imo.

Memphis having two very close misses, Schneiderlin just over the bar, Smalling's effort near the end, are just some of the efforts Utd should have scored with

The ONLY time Watford troubled De Gea was with the penalty (even adding Smalling's header in thee 2nd half, where if CS hadn't touched it De Gea would have made it look simple) - sorry but no they didn't deserver it without being gifted the point by Utd being lazy - which Ive already said

lol no De Gea pulled of 3 or 4 good saves one was fantastic

/just seen the replay anyone saying the watford striker was almost on the deck LOL NO

Both side had chances but United had more and the better ones. I think we deserved to win, you don't, neither of us is going to change our mind so why don't we just both leave it at that and be happy that United won.

And the ridiculously easy chance to lob Gomez lingard missed.

It wasn't that easy for a very young/ inexperienced wide player....and anyway weren't there two defenders pretty close to Gomes anyway - who may well have got back even if Gomes didn't (just a little too much height may well have made it easy to save just as much as how it was played)

hmmm one or two were good for tv replays but not sure they were actually that difficult to save, the only other one I can really recall was the one from Smalling's header - which I had already mentioned, and was covered easily if Smalling hadn't touched it

Vardy starts for Leicester. I'll laugh if it's Rob Elliot and Colo who prevent him from getting the consecutive goals record.

Ok, it wasn't a given but the keeper was completely irrelevant because he was neither close enough to make the lob any harder or far enough back to mean the lob had to be precise. He was smack bang in the middle of the goal and wasn't under that much pressure. Yes the two players near could have got back but it was a chance that you would expect most players to take. You won't get a better chance to lob a keeper than he had there.

the one he made near post was behind him, also there watford chances were fantastic they just were hit clean and hard with no placement, but they were still great scoring chances.
