Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th November 2015]

Was going to have a go at Wenger for putting us in the position to play Arteta. The free kick leading to the first goal really wasn't his fault though his lack of pace and the need for him to go to ground is a huge problem with why he's not good enough. So he comes on, is one of the main reasons for us going 2-1 behind, then gets injured again.

I was going to say that we'd have been better off if Arteta hadn't been available on the bench and it was almost surprising that he was. He's both not good enough any more and he isn't reliable either being constantly injured, both making him unsuitable for Arsenal. Everyone but Wenger could see we needed a new DM yet he did nothing with easily enough available to buy someone top or even a youngster on the cheap with promise. Anything would be better than Arteta frankly. Every time he comes on he's bad and it's obviously not going anywhere, he's not going to get better at this stage nor likely improve injury wise.

Coquelin has really not come close to playing a full season, expecting one out of him this year is bad management itself. We need to slowly build him up as we should have done over the previous 3 years.

Flamini himself is constantly injured and not reliable enough back up. Though he's FAR better than Arteta and if we'd bought a new DM Flamini would have been a good extra option.
 
It'll probably be El Clasico for me unless they start rolling around and trying to get each other down to 10 men. City v Pool will probably be a 0-0 bore draw either way.
