Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th November 2015]

Klopp just inspires such hope for the future, I can foresee players wanting to come to join him, I think thats one of the differences between him and the past few managers

Other than pace I'm really not sure what Ibe offers us. He's either the most selfish player in the world or completely devoid of any vision at all because he just runs in straight lines then loses the ball over and over again.

Our best performance since Suarez left and a scoreline that flattered City :)

Hard to pick a MotM today because the front three were exceptional, Lucas, Can and Milner were almost as good and Clyne and Moreno both had fantastic games. In fact it was arguably Lallana's and Can's best games for us today but Coutinho and Firmino were a class above and ruined the City defence over and over again.

Onwards and upwards

I'm not sure if it's arrogance or stupidity. All our wins over City in the last few years have been based on us overrunning Toure and Co in midfield and exposing City's CB's and Pellegrini still set-ups the way he did today?

That said we were excellent from start to finish and the only nervy spells came about as a result of a couple of individual mistakes. The movement and interplay between Coutinho and Firmino was a joy to watch - it was just like watching Brazil ;)

The only negative today (other than Mignolet & Skrtel's crazy passes for their goal and Milner's for the Aguero chance) was the missed chances. I don't think many sides have gone away to City in recent years, won 4-1 and felt that their finishing was poor. It really could and should have been 6 or 7.

Thought Ibe looked good/threatening when he came on. Definite room for improvement but I think he has a good future ahead of him.

Overall I am really disappointed with that performance because It should have been 6 - 1. :p

You've got to find something to moan about you miserable ******* ;)

He's raw, no doubt but he's a talent. He can strike the ball so cleanly off both feet, he's got electric pace, he's a strong as an ox and he works hard. With a bit of coaching and more experience he's going to get better and better.

Ibe is 19, give him a break! Sterling was exactly the same when he came on the scene, Ibe looks technically better than he did.

He had his flaws but in actual fact he was the opposite. What separated Sterling from most young players was his understanding of the game and his decision making. He wasn't as physically as developed as Ibe and even to today he still can't seem to strike the ball cleanly.

I remember Sterling's early days and he was just all pace and nothing else, I thought he just another Andros Townsend, brain dead. Then disappeared for a while and came back a different player.
