Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 25th January 2017]

Same old same old from us, still trying too often to walk it into the box, one thing that Gerrard gave us in his prime was a threat from the long shot, we dont really have anyone now who can regularly score from outside the box. How many years now have we struggled to beat the lower teams. Time and time again. Got to focus on the top4 now because any realistic chance of the title has gone. Chelsea will likely end the weekend 10 pts ahead of us.
 
It's a pity Sakho and Klopp arent on decent terms, he could help this defence i think
 
Our form over the last month has been truly shocking. One win in 6 games, against a League Two side in a replay, should have led to big questions about our style of play, ability to break down teams and lack of plan B but we've done absolutely nothing to change things. Title's gone, top 4 is in big danger. Klopp needs to react big time.
 
Ah well, well done Swansea for playing the simplest plan to beat us (not that there would be reason to try any other way)

If we get a draw its irrelevant, massive change needed

Yea, i remember the drug test thing, did that not come back as negative though?

I understand they fell out because he was being an arse, it depends on the type of manager but these things can be ironed out if both parties are willing
 
I still cannot understand our reluctance to dip into the transfer market, we have money. Baffles me that we arent trying to sign some additional strength
