Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd October 2016]

Sunderland, ouch. Were on for a point there and go 1-0 down deep into injury time. Arsenal with a disallowed goal for offside, then another chance but Walcott offside... missed anyway, finishes 0-0.

Burnley look like they've won 2-1. Leicester won pretty convincingly from what I saw. Stoke with a clean sheet, a win and Hull losing again.

Hope karanka has learnt his lesson now

Lucky in some respects but way better than efforts in recent weeks where we just pass and run backwards then get picked off

Good game and great result

Amazing result for Burnley, really hard stadium to get a result at, great support up there.

Sunderland on 2 points, I cba'd to remember what the dire stats are but it was something like this, any team with 2 points after 9 games takes the manager behind the stadium and shoots him. More seriously, relegation and/or manager fired when starting this badly.

The biggest question in terms of injuries for Sunderland/Moyes is, is it bad luck or is it Moyes responsible for so many injuries via training methods. Sometimes as simple as expecting every team to train at the same level as your old team was capable of rather than trying to increase fitness over time. Their injuries have built up as the season has gone on.
