Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd October 2016]

Just not quite sure what's going to happen to him, Aguero is just class as well, unless Aguero moves or Guardiola plays 2 upfront more often, he's not going to get the games he needs to become, well Aguero/Suarez level.

I can see Aguero leaving at some point, maybe if it's within a couple of years it will make space for him. If not he maybe needs to think about moving on.

Atletico are less about spending huge money so maybe if someone buys Griezmann they could buy someone like Iheanacho.

At some point I think Real have to think about doing better than Benzema which could trigger a bit of transfer dominos.

City now just have Stones and Kolarov at the back :D

edit: and interesting Utd side. Martial back on the bench and none of Rooney, Shaw or Miki in the squad at all? The Chelsea side looks awful.

Fellaini again *Sigh*

I think against a team like Chelsea that's arguably your best side (save for left back - where's Shaw?), and your pace on the wings will make them think twice against pushing too far forward. Fellaini does a job against their powerful players. Having Mata or Miki in instead of him will cause you to be much more open. Lingard and Martial are pretty interchangeable.

Not even to make the bench though? Rojo and Darmian are rubbish and they're there.

Shaw has looked unfit and really not that great since coming back from injury so it's not really a surprise he didn't make the team, especially after the other night where Darmian played much better than him.

Rojo is rubbish yeah but we don't really have any other choice for backup CB for this match with Jones injured again as usual and Blind playing LB.

Fellaini doesn't do a job, he gets out classed, he doesn't muscle people, he isn't good on the air. He's pointless. I'd rather play Carrick because at least he can dictate the pace. Fellaini just wanders around aimlessly

:D

Rashford is a poor starter for me, he's so one-dimensional in just kicking and running every time he gets the ball. He's effective with 20 minutes against tired legs, pretty useless when he starts.

Oh dear.
