Not expecting us to win today. Generally play like rubbish there.

Sky Sports are apparently sticking a load of journos in amongst the crowd with recording devices to try and pick up on any chants...

I really don't know why the police haven't done that for years. A month of 100 cops in the crowd listening for chants and if they hear them recording them, and if one cop in the crowd can pick out 10 people who are in the chants, arrest them after the game. Do that for a couple months with heavy community service punishments, jail for any with previous convictions of anything, then people will simply stop the nasty chants. A 2 month crack down, a couple hundred people being punished, everyone else stops then let it be known that the police will randomly attend games in a similar fashion every now and then will likely keep them in check.

It's almost completely ridiculous it hasn't happened. There are racists, there will ALWAYS be racists, that is the world we live in, we can stop other people being subjected to their nonsense. It's not perfect but bigots, and just bad people tend to keep their views to themselves if they fear being punished, simple as that.

While these guys have no fear of being punished for chanting nasty or racist things, they'll go on doing it, add the fear and they'll stop. The pretty important thing is when older people stop chanting in such a way, younger kids won't hear it and won't come to believe its acceptable.

They're complete and utter *****. You know the first thing they'll ask either manager is about any crowd chants that occur.

They should, until the clubs get more embarrassed about it than they care about losing the season tickets some of these guys have they won't do a stonking amount about it.

While the police should have done this for years, there was also nothing stopping the clubs watching for anyone chanting nasty things and banning them for life.

In any case, punish a few and the rest will shut up.

i don't think he should shake his hand. why would you shake the hand of someone you don't like? sometimes, something's too deep and the handshake would be a mockery of the purpose of a handshake.

just play the bleedin' game!

I agree the handshake thing is pointless especially if one person doesn't respect the other but since FA demand it they cant do nothing about it and today is bigger than that so they should any other day i couldn't give a rats arse if they did or didnt

lindegaard? it's naff all to do with me but ferguson is hammering de gea's confidence by dropping him. he's essentially saying, you're not up to this type of game! madness.

Agree i rated De Gea before he came here and when he joined UTD i was gutted wanted him to be Reina replacement, He is a quality keeper and i hope he leaves UTD Fergie treats him poorly anyway.

Like when they conceded fair few goals when he joined most of them were UTDs defenses fault for constantly getting beat he couldn't of saved them all

Bit miffed though how Coates isnt getting into the first team, Rather have him come on and replace a CB than Carragher, Carra vs RVP last time was abysmal and he gets out run by a hamster

Disappointed Cleverley isn't starting, this would have been the biggest game of his career for us so far and would have been very interesting to see how he'd of done :(

Once again I dont know what Fergie's doing with the keepers, De Gea didn't have much to do in midweek but what he did do was better than anything Lindegaard has done in 2 games this season. Fergie making DDG his keeper for Europe and Lindegaard his one in the PL?
