No the game is still about getting a good set of players, keeping your team consistent and building form. At the minute we seem to be failing in all 3 departments after our early sucess in the season.

We seem to play a different midfield/forward combo every match and our defence is rotating constantly. You cant expect to beat teams like cities in the form that we are in. Before this game we had only won 3 of our last 6, and some of those were a bit fortunate for us, and the ones we didnt win we really did look average at best if not awful for large parts of the matches.

Well yes of course the game is still about that i never said it wasnt? I said money plays more of a part than it used to. UTD havent fixed there midfield problem for a few years now.

Carrick/Fletcher are both utter crap. You needed Some one like Snedijer in summer but if its true you didnt due to money. Its fine not spending and its great when you dont have to but its not like UTD have brought up any one from there youth academy who is doing whats needed for you in the middle of the park.

Lets not idolise Cleverley, there is a lot of problems with us that Cleverley won't fix.

Some of this season, it wasn't at the start but it has been lately. We badly miss Cleverly, but also need another CM.

We REALLY cant say we miss a player who has only played a handful of games.

I rate Cleverley highly but he seems to get better with every game he doesnt play.

Newcastle wont be in the mix for the top four come the end of the season, not by a long way. Well in my opinion anyway

I know you can only beat whats infront of you, but the only teams of any note they have played are a very poor Arsenal at the start of the season, and Spurs at home. Yet to play the other big four teams.

Surely the defence is your biggest problem? You're leaking goals left, right and centre and a solid defence is what you've built your title winning teams around in the past. Ferdinand and Evra need replacing before any midfielders imo.

The Spurs team Utd beat at home wasn't anything like full strength either, Spurs played Livermore and Kranjcar in the middle and an unfit Lennon. I said it last week and I was scoffed at, but City are clearly favourites for the league.

Oh right, you only lost Scholes this season and won EPL and was in CL final and bought in some new players and now need another player?

Your team is amazing, you should be happy you have those players, typical Man U fan, lose a game and season is over, need a new player.
