Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 26th October 2011]

Stoke supporters unhappy with the amount of time Suarez is taking to come off. Perhaps if all of our players came off that slowly one after the other it might make up for the amount of time Delap takes for a single throw in.

Lol 5-2 with frankly one of the worst center back pairings I've ever seen. No fault of Savic, Kolo Toured seemed intent on just giving away chances.

Scary how we responded after going a goal down. Looked like it seriously ****** us off, then 3 in as many minutes, then another 2 for good measure, and some hearty chants of "6-1, we only win 6-1!" :D Then Kolo, intent on messing up again, and Ohara on a one man mission to win the game for wolves, conceded a second. Still created a few great chances before the end though.

Always wondered about this he takes his damn time to take a throw in. Why doesn't he get penalised for taking so long?

Good win against a very tough team away from home but the amount of chances we're missing is worrying, as are the amount of individual errors we're making at the back and the amount of tactical errors Dalglish is making and not learning from.

Our defence looked far more solid as soon as Carragher went off yet he'll no doubt come straight back in for our next game and despite providing the cross for the winner Henderson was again anonymous on the right for most of the game. How many times is Kenny going to play him there before he realises it's not working? :(

Edit: Nearly forgot, Spearing as a DM > Adams.

Massive result for Liverpool, wouldn't of given them much hope of getting a win at Stoke tbh. City scoring bucket loads again, this seasons Carling Cup the most competitive for quite a few seasons especially if Chelsea go through as well

Decent performance but a good win. First half we created and missed too many chances (as usual) and then get punished for a stupid mistake at the back. 2nd half we didn't create as much and it took a moment of magic from Suarez to get us level. Thankfully we defended the set-plays well on the whole and managed to get the winner towards the end of the game.

On a side note, I'm not sure what we have to do to get a pen away to Stoke. 2 stonewall pens for fouls on Lucas in Benitez's last season, 2 clear handballs in the league game the other month and then today Suarez is tripped but because he stayed on his feet (despite stumbling) nothing was given and then Coates gets tripped and then pulled back twice by Woodgate and nothing is given either.
