I would say that isn't the case here, the rule is supposed to prevent a red card if it's a genuine and fair tackle but not when the intent is to take the player.

For me that was a clear keepers tackle in that he 100% intended to make sure the player was taken out if he got the ball or not, but hopefully gets the ball. He absolutely wiped out Vardy who would be favourite to get to the ball the way it drops.

I'm not saying it is a penalty, I'm genuinely not sure how I'd call that as a ref, but if the ref sees that as a foul then I see that as a keeper intending to make sure Vardy can't get to the ball so for me, red card.

Also that next one is a clear penalty as well.

Exactly.

Mignolet needs to actually clear the ball sufficiently if he's going to come charging out, touching it so that it moves 6 inches and then flattening a player who is moving in the right direction and will get to the ball far faster is a foul.

Nah, it's utter dog****.

Henderson offers absolutely no protection to the defence and hoofs it the second he's under pressure, Gini yet again has gone AWOL and Can's far too raw.

Coutinho, Lallana and hopefully Keita next season although I expect it to be Lallana, Keita and A N Other.

Klopp's braindead if he thinks we don't need a DM, and by DM I mean a proper DM with a ballsack rather than the namby pamby fluffy Henderson.
